Welcome to Valley Development Projects
Since its inception in 1989,
Valley Development Projects (VDP)
seeks to improve the lives of people in the Ocean View and Masiphumelele communities. Divided into three major programmes, the Open Door Project, Early Learning Support Programme (ELSP) and Social Work programme, VDP addresses social issues using an integrated development approach. Working extensively with other NPOs, VDP seeks to alleviate the effects of poverty by offering support to these communities in the form of learning programmes, life skills training, capacity building, counselling, and food aid.
